Total Gym UK at FIBO 2025 – Connections, Conversations & the Continuing Rise of Pilates
FIBO 2025 has come and gone—and what an incredible few days it was for the Total Gym UK team. As the world’s leading trade show for fitness, wellness and health, FIBO once again proved to be a hub of innovation, collaboration and meaningful conversation.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who visited our stand, met with our team, and shared ideas, goals, and inspiration for the future of fitness. We had some brilliant conversations, formed exciting new partnerships, and left the event energised about what’s ahead.

Pilates: Still On the Rise, and Showing No Signs of Slowing
One of the most striking trends we noticed at this year’s FIBO was the continued surge in popularity of Pilates—especially Reformer Pilates. From studio owners and physiotherapists to home fitness enthusiasts and elite trainers, interest in Pilates-based training was everywhere.
This isn’t just anecdotal; the numbers speak for themselves:
According to Allied Market Research, the global Pilates and yoga studios market is projected to reach $269 billion by 2032, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10.1% from 2023.
In the UK, Google Trends shows a 170% increase in searches for “Reformer Pilates” over the past five years, reflecting growing consumer awareness and interest.
Boutique fitness studio openings across Europe are increasingly prioritising Reformer Pilates classes in their line-up—citing client demand, low impact training benefits, and retention rates as key drivers.

Why the Surge?
Reformer Pilates offers a unique blend of strength, flexibility, control, and rehabilitation. As people increasingly prioritise holistic health, injury prevention, and longevity in fitness, it’s clear why this form of movement is taking centre stage.
At Total Gym UK, we’ve long championed the versatility and effectiveness of Reformer-style training. Our New Age Reformers and Gravity Studio equipment deliver the benefits of traditional Pilates in modern, innovative ways—supporting everyone from beginners to elite athletes.
Looking Ahead
The conversations we had at FIBO confirmed what we already believed—Pilates is not just a trend; it’s a movement that’s transforming the way people train, move, and feel.
We’re proud to be part of that evolution and look forward to helping more studios, clubs and individuals bring Pilates to life in new and exciting ways across the UK and beyond.
If you connected with us at FIBO—thank you! And if you didn’t get the chance, we’d love to hear from you.
Let’s keep the momentum going. Pilates is growing, and so are we.
